Hey guys! Like I said yesterday I’m busy getting everything ready for us to have the best family vacation ever! We’re heading back to Disney World next month and today I wanted to share with you my tips for Packing a Perfect Park Bag for Disney! These are (of course) my tips, I’m sure I’ve included things you might not need, but no one ever accused me of being a light packer. I just like to be prepared for any situation that might come up. So, take from my tips what you want, and leave what you don’t, okay?
Let me start by telling you that I’m actually bringing two bags with me into the Parks each day. One diaper bag, and one cross body bag.
The Diaper Bag is where most of the items I’ll be taking will go, we’ll hang it on the stroller. The cross body will be my purse, but will still hold some things. I’ve done a bit of traveling the world, and I like a cross body bag, when I know there will be a ton of people in an area, it feels more secure to me. I got this one on Etsy.
The first category of items I like to think about is safety and cleanliness. Inevitably someone is going to scrap their knees, so I’ve included Band-aids (bonus points for Mickey Mouse ones), hand sanitizers, sunscreen, baby wipes.
I got this Mickey one on eBay, and Karter already loves his “hot dog”. So you can judge all you want. I don’t care 🙂
The next thing I want to touch on is heat defense. Depending on the time of year, Central Florida can have temperatures of approximately a bajillion degrees. We’re going in mid-August so I’m packing these items to help fend off heat exhaustion: hats, Mister Fan, Cooling Towels, and Refillable Water Bottles / Cups
I’m also packing Zip Top Baggies and Snacks, because I know my kids and I know they’re alllllllways hungry. I’m bringing the empty bags to pack up our leftovers from meals, for when hunger strikes again.
Now a few techy things I’m taking this time! Camera (obviously) and solar charger, I like this camera because it clips to my iPhone, and takes beautiful pictures without me having to lug my “big girl” camera around, and a waterproof cellphone protector, for water rides.
Although I don’t have them (yet) I’m definitely bringing along some disposable dollar store ponchos too. Rain won’t stop our fun!
So how did I do? Is there something I forgot? Sound off in the comments.
