Hey there, Hi there, Ho there! You’re as welcome as can be M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!
Today’s lunch is another Mickey Mouse lunch, that I made yesterday for Karter. He loves Mickey so much, he actually calls him “Hot Dog” because of the Hot Dog Dance! It’s basically adorable.
Last night I did a live Periscope when I made this lunch, and while I don’t think it went as well as it could have, and I had some major camera malfunctions, and I may or may not have ordered a new tri-pod this morning because I was so fed up with that stupid Gorilla Pod falling over– I’m going to keep doing them. I want to spread the news that making a cute lunch doesn’t have to be time consuming- like at all. I made this one in 5 minutes flat and that was counting all the technical difficulties I had as well.
This leads me to my new series #5MinuteBento! I’m going to be going live on Periscope once per week to share a live lunch demonstration and show you moms and dad’s that are always saying “That’s cute, but ain’t nobody got time for that,” because you do! You can totally make this lunch! They don’t have to be works of art to put a smile on your kids faces, and that’s what it’s all about anyway.
- Mickey Sandwich
- Fruit Strip Pants
- Red Grapes
- Baby Carrots
To make this lunch you only need a set of biscuit cutters. Just cut your Mickey shape using two different size cutters, and then use the large circle to cut his pants out of the fruit strip. Add grapes with option food picks, and baby carrots! Boom, done! You’ve created a 5 Minute Bento!
