Hey friends! Today I want to share with you guys these fun and easy #RedNoseDay lunches. Have you heard about Red Nose Day yet? I first heard of #RedNoseDay during my ex-pat days when we lived in England. It’s huge there. Huge. They’ve been doing #RedNoseDay every other year for about 30 years now! It’s basically a day when celebrities “Do something funny for money!” to raise funds for charities such as The Boys and Girls Clubs, Children’s Health Fund, and one dear to my heart, Feeding America.
As you probably have guessed by now, being able to provide healthy foods for my children is so important to me, I know some mother’s have to struggle to do just that. I never not thankful that I don’t have to worry about where my child’s next meal is coming from, which is why as often as we can we donate to our local food banks. It’s really important, because you never know when you might need that same help. Feeding America helps not only kids not feel hungry, but seniors also. They also provide disaster relief when tragedies occur.
According to Feeding America over 49 Million people struggle with hunger right here in America, while we have billions of pounds of food piling up, for me that’s unacceptable. We absolutely need to be feeding those who are hungry.
Today they both have:
- Bread Head Sandwiches with Red Noses!
- Baby Carrots and Sugar Snap Peas
I definitely want to encourage you to watch the #RedNoseDay show tonight on NBC, and to donate to some great causes! Remember, we’re all in this together as citizens of the world.
This is not a sponsored post, just a cause I feel passionate about!
