It never fails. At the beginning of the school year I’m full of ideas and I blog practically every weekday. Then, sometime towards the end of the school year, I always run out of steam. After that, I can only periodically bring myself to pack a lunch that’s not a plain old boring sandwich, or even packing a lunch at all. I’ll admit it, they’ve been eating a lot of school lunches! GASP! hahaha. I’m trying to will myself into packing lunches so here’s what Kolton will be eating today!
- Baymax shaped Peanut Butter Sandwich
- Organic Gala Apple Slices
- Wild Oats Teddy Bear Graham Crackers
- Simply Go-gurt
To create the Baymax shaped bread, I just used a round cookie cutter (from the Wilton 101 Piece Set) and squashed it a little with my hands while cutting. I actually use this “technique” often, it works really well for tweaking a cutter that I already have, and then I don’t have to add to the massive collection. Win, win. I then piped on some Nutella spread for the eyes. I think I’ve had Baymax on the brain because my kids have been watching Big Hero 6 on a loop in my car for months.
