The Lorax Lunch!
Hey y’all and Happy Read Across America Day! It’s also the legendary Dr. Seuss’ 111th birthday. I know I grew up on Dr. Seuss’ books and my kids love them now just as much as I did then. I recently read that his widow, had found some previously unpublished manuscripts and there is a couple of new books soon to be released! How exciting!
One of my favorite Seuss books is The Lorax. I love the message behind it… “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” It’s about personal responsibility and taking care of the environment, something I can stand behind. Plus he has a cool mustache, which I’m always a fan of. 🙂

Kaylee’s Kindergarten class hosted us at The Reading Restaurant this morning. It was the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. They wore little aprons and hats and took our orders for books as wait staff.
Way cute, right?!
